The Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art (Suzhou MoCA) will launch an online reservation service on Aug 25 for couples to take wedding photos in its outdoor areas.

Located on the right bank of Jinji Lake, the museum features nine individual pavilions connected by ribbon-like rooftops. The interplay of light and shadow across the structures creates a fantastic backdrop for photography.

From Aug 25, couples can make free online reservations through the museum’s mini program on WeChat. The slots are released on the 25th of each month for the following month on a first-come, first-served basis. Shooting is permitted in outdoor areas only.

The opening of the photography spots at the museum will enrich options for people looking to take wedding photos in SIP, where a variety of photography spots and routes have been opened since early this year under the local initiative to boost “sweet economy”.
