The Shengpu Traditional Culture Experience Center has come into service at the SIP Eastern Citizen Center newly opened in the Shengpu Neighborhood Center in SIP’s Shengpu Sub-district, giving visitors a holistic picture of the sub-district’s historical evolution.

Located on the third floor, the 402-square-meter exhibition space comprises four zones where visitors can explore Shengpu’s historical transformations, learn about local literati and patriots, experience its 1980s–90s commercial atmosphere in the simulated commercial street, and savor the charm and essence of its traditional and modern cultures.

Interactive activities such as doll-making workshops will be held in the future to enhance visitors’ understanding of traditional local costumes and other intangible cultural heritage elements.
