On July 30, Zhongji InnoLight was listed on the Main Board of the HKEX, becoming a company listed on both the A-share and H-share markets of the country. This milestone has expanded the world-leading optical module manufacturer’s presence in capital market.

Dr. Liu Sheng and four other overseas returnees founded InnoLight Technology in SIP in 2008. In 2017, The company went public on the ChiNext market of Shenzhen Stock Exchange as “Zhongji InnoLight” via a restructuring. By 2021, it had ranked first globally in high-speed optical module shipments. In 2025, its annual operating income reached RMB38.24 billion, with InnoLight Technology—a core engine for Zhongji InnoLight—contributing over 95%.



InnoLight seeks an ecosystem-based development. In 2022, it formed an innovation consortium with upstream and downstream partners to tackle core technological challenges, and this April, it launched collaboration with several other companies in jointly building an optical communication industry base in SIP with a total investment of RMB5 billion.

At the 2026 Suzhou Global Investment Promotion Conference in May, Dr. Liu Sheng praised Suzhou’s open, efficient, and pragmatic business environment, noting that the city’s robust industrial ecosystem and responsive government services have strengthened the company’s resilience in navigating the complex international trade environment.
