The second-phase renovation project of Suzhou Eagle Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Co Ltd, a company in SIP, was completed on July 22, with an estimated annual production capacity of 100,000 electric vehicles.

Founded in 1998, the company specializes in developing and manufacturing off-road four-wheel electric vehicles. Its product portfolio includes sightseeing cars, golf carts, trucks, engineering vehicles, police patrol vehicles, fire trucks, and sanitation vehicles, which are exported to over 80 countries and regions worldwide.

The new plant, located at No. 8 Xinqing East Road, boasts a floor area of about 6,000 square meters. It is used to produce BX compact pure electric vehicles and pure electric two-seat coupes. This will further enhance the company’s R&D and manufacturing capabilities, accelerate its market responsiveness, and strengthen its core competitiveness in the off-road electric vehicle market.
