Merck Electronic Materials (Suzhou) Ltd, Merck’s branch in SIP, recently received the construction permit for upgrading its existing plant and production lines into a photoresist material technology center with a total investment of about RMB120 million.

Merck is a global leading science and technology company focused on life sciences, healthcare, and electronics. Established in 2004, the branch in SIP has grown into an important manufacturing and service base for Merck’s electronics business in China.

The upgraded facility will integrate R&D, testing and validation, process optimization, and industrialization. It is expected to strengthen Merck’s capabilities in localized technical support and services related to photoresist materials.
