SIP is making coordinated efforts across four aspects to advance eldercare: services, facilities, talent, and industry.

In services, SIP has enhanced top design to fulfill the needs of different older residents. For those aged 50-75, community-based social and leisure activities and handy services are offered; for those aged 75-85, home-centered safety and care services have been strengthened; and for those over 85, professional institutions provide assisted living and medical services.

In facilities, SIP has fostered a system of 10 tiered elderly care institutions, 5 sub-district-level elderly service centers, and 186 community-based day care sites, forming a number of 15-minute service circles. Two central kitchens and 87 meal assistance outlets ensure nutritious food for seniors.

In terms of talent, the park encourages medics, caregivers, social workers and others to serve as volunteers in various eldercare programs, and offers training and collaborates with schools to build a professional service team.

Meanwhile, the park has been nurturing an industrial ecosystem for eldercare, including establishing SIPSWG (a company offering a full chain of services to boost happiness of the elderly), encouraging tech companies to develop high-tech products for the aged, and cooperating with financial institutions to promote age-friendly financial products.
